CÍA. LA PEATONAL INTRODUCING AT ISLA: CUIDARNOS EL REFUGIO, A PERFORMATIVE ACTION IN THE CONTEXT OF COBIOCCLIM BY FIC

As part of the collaboration between ISLA and the CoBioClim project of the FIC (Climate Research Foundation), we are presenting a three-part program created by Cía. La Peatonal.

On April 18, we invite you to enjoy a performative action inspired by the work Cuidarnos el Refugio by Cía La Peatonal, which explores the importance of preserving the conditions in those natural spaces where climate stability will allow species to thrive.

In this action, two figures seek refuge at different points within the natural landscape of ISLA, highlighting the need to protect connectivity in order to facilitate the movement of species and (bio)diversity.

This experimental initiative showcases the artistic and research work of La Peatonal, which, in collaboration with the FIC and ISLA, seeks new ways to communicate technical aspects of climate change—in this case, as part of the project Cuidarnos el Refugio by Nat Ribalaygua and Po Ruiz.

A little bit more about Cía La Peatonal:
