ISLA invites you to participate in our just launched project, Biodiversity Refuges for Climate Change in collaboration with the Foundation for climate investigation.

We continue working on the research process.

We are now anouncing a series of visits ISLA on top of the four seasonal meetings in which we will include the participation of visual artists to help us visualize, document, and understand the COBIOCCLIM project. And continue working on our "Cuaderno de observación", an initiative you are invited to be part of. You will learn about this hybrid collaboration between the scientific and artistic processes.

In the meantime, we encourage you to visit Isla on the dates listed below to learn more about this project and actively participate in the integration of science, art, and community in order to support biodiversity conservation and climate adaptation within the framework of phenology. At our first meeting, on February 21, we will be fortunate to have Rosario Gavilán, professor of botany at the UCM (Complutense University of Madrid), to learn more about phenology.

At ISLA, we seek to activate the present through contextual knowledge, setting a precedent in the application of transdisciplinary methodologies for a different narrative.
